Our ASP colleague Prof. Marsha Griggs from Washburn School of Law has posted a new paper, which will be published in the Texas A&M Law Review: Building a Better Bar Exam. Her paper reviews the background of the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) and links the adoption of the UBE to declining nationwide passing rates.  She also proposes some changes that should be made to mitigate what she sees as the harm of the UBE, including changing the timing of the bar exam and exploring alternative bar admission models.

It’s a great read, with a lot of rich background about the UBE.  Check it out HERE.
