Fifth Annual St. Mary’s Research Celebration: Research Showcase

Thank you for presenting at the Research Showcase on April 9-10, 2025! Your scheduled presentation time and location can be found here. Please review the instructions and deadlines below for submitting your presentation materials.
Presenter Check-In
All presenters must check in at the Registration Table on April 9, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the lobby of the Greehey Arena, located in the Alumni Athletics & Convention Center (AA&CC), first floor. At check-in, you will receive event materials, name tags, and conference swag.

Poster Presenters
- The Faculty and Student Poster Symposium will take place on Wednesday, April 9, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM in the AA&CC Arena.
- Professional poster stands, and tables will be provided.
- Setup: Posters must be set up between 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM on April 9 during Presenter Check-In.
Poster Submission & Printing
- Download the PowerPoint poster template.
- When submitting your poster, save the PowerPoint as a PDF and submit the PDF file naming it “Last Name_First Name”.
To use the free poster printing service at the AMC, submit your 36” x 48” PDF by March 26, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
- Non-St. Mary’s presenters may replace the St. Mary’s logo with their institution’s logo.
Submission Instructions
- St. Mary’s faculty & students: Upload your poster to the Research Showcase Spring 2025 Canvas Course.
- If you opted to be judged, also submit a PDF to the Final Poster for Judging assignment in the Research Symposium Spring 2025 Canvas Course by March 26.
- Non-St. Mary’s presenters: Upload to this link by March 26 at 5 pm for free printing.
📌 Late posters will incur a $50 printing fee.
Oral Presenters
- All oral presentations will take place on Thursday, April 10, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM in various University Center conference rooms (second floor).
- Check the Event Link for your scheduled time and location.
- Presentation Time Limits:
- Students: 15 minutes (including Q&A)
- Faculty/Staff: 30 minutes (including Q&A)
Presentation Submission
- Deadline: All PowerPoint presentations must be submitted by April 2.
- St. Mary’s presenters: Upload your PowerPoint to the Research Showcase Spring 2025 Canvas Course.
Non-St. Mary’s presenters: Upload to this link.
- If not submitted by April 2, you must bring your presentation on a flash drive and arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time.
📍 An Information Table will be available on the second floor of the University Center for any event-related questions.
Visitor Parking
- Parking is available in Lot T, adjacent to the AA&CC.
- Download and display your parking pass on your dashboard.
