Liz, this is such a great proposal topic as so many children and even adults are suffering from mental health issues during this time. I especially think about those who already have a learning disability or any disability as it’s double the challenge. If COVID-19 does leave devasting impacts on student’s mental health, how can we as teachers help them progress forward? You mentioned in your paper about teachers knowing the signs of the effects of the pandemic and I think constant professional development for this alone will be extremely important for the years to come.
