Looking Ahead to the bar exam

Preparing for the bar exam as an llm student

As an LLM student, if your goal is to take and pass the Uniform Bar Exam, getting ready for the bar exam should be on your radar from the time you start school. It takes time to select a commercial course and to plan out your study timeline. You may also want to select some of your courses with the bar exam in mind. Additionally, LLM students will typically need to start studying for the bar exam between 6-10 months ahead of the date they plan to take the exam.

This page is meant to be a resource for you as you look ahead to the bar exam. We will update the resources and information available here following live sessions to ensure you can access information at a time that works for you.

You will also find resources on our Raise the Bar website at: https://sites.stmarytx.edu/raisethebar/.
