Operation Overview
Portable Speaker
- Turn on speaker, you will see a red light showing that the power is on
- Secure speaker to your waist using the waitst band
- Conncect the microphone jack to the speaker
- Adjust the microphone position on your head
- If you want to apmlify another device’s sound through the portable speaker connect the input cord from that device to the portable speaker

Computer
We have a selection of Dell laptops for short-term checkout. Our normal checkout length is for a 2-week checkout duration.
Presentation Clicker
Simple and ergonomic remote control for your presentation needs. Wireless range so you can advance your slides regardless of where you stand or what direction you face.
Projectors
We have several digital projectors ready for your mobile presentation or special event. Our projectors even have an internal 10-watt speakers that suffice for most small classrooms or presentation spaces.

How much does it cost to check out equipment?
Checking out St. Mary’s media equipment is free for all current St. Mary’s students, faculty, and staff.
How do I turn the Speaker on?
Press the on button. If you do not see a red light then the batteries need charging.
What does the red light mean?
The Red light means that the power is on. When the light is blinking it means that it is charging. When the device is fully charged the light will be solid green.
What do I do if the Microphone is not working?
Check that the cord for the microphone is securely srewed all the way into the speaker in the appropreate spot.
How do I attach the Waistband?
Loop the waist band through the slots at the side of the speaker. Once the speaker is attached to the band wrap the waistband around your own waist. Secure the ends by slipping them through the buckles and tightening. Careful to leave it loose enough as to not cause pain to the area.
